My Story
Hi, I’m Teodora Demian, a surface designer based in London.
As a child, I spent my summer holidays with my grandparents, surrounded by nature and farm animals. Living in a big city now can sometimes feel disconnected from that. That’s why I use my creative skills to capture the beauty of the natural world around me.
With a deep passion for natural materials, organic shapes, and simplicity, my work combines traditional techniques with modern digital tools.
The Turning Point
I didn’t start with an art degree or years in a studio — I started with spreadsheets, deadlines, and a packed London commute. After being made redundant from my project manager job, I turned to the one thing that always brought me calm: creating.
I live in a city that never slows down. It’s loud, fast, and often disconnected. But when I paint, design, or animate, everything becomes quiet.
My work is shaped by this contrast: structure and spontaneity, noise and focus, digital and handmade. This mix is what makes it mine.
