The idea started with a strange-shaped house that I dreamed of at the beginning of my creative journey, which I then painted. Although the dream itself felt surreal and unsettling, once awake I realised that the house was actually an interesting shape.
It made me realise that sometimes things can appear strange, and somehow more serious, in the absence of light. The idea of this project was to explore the fact that, although things might seem dark, intense or doomed during the night, the light of day usually brings a different feeling.
The challenge was to gather all the necessary assets using only AI and blend them with my knowledge of digital tools like Photoshop and After Effects. For this project, I used Adobe’s AI tool, Firefly.
ASSETS
The Setting:
To set up the project, I started by using Adobe Firefly to generate the surroundings in which my dream house would be positioned. The setting needed to create an eerie atmosphere.
The Dream House – The main element
I then generated images in Adobe Firefly, using the initial illustration I made of the dream house as a reference. I prompted the tool to create variations of the house that resembled the original illustration as closely as possible.

The Crows:
Once the animation was set up, I felt something was missing from the eerie setting I had in mind. I decided to introduce crows circling the area to add a mysterious and surreal feel.
One crow was intentionally animated to fly towards the lower level of the house, where a light flickers on and off, drawing attention to it. Why is the light flashing? Is something strange or unsettling happening there — or is it just a matter of perspective?

Final Video
The assets were refined in Photoshop, and the motion design was created in After Effects.
